Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Alumni of the MS in Medical Physiology program have gone on to professional school programs all across the country, pursuing their dreams of becoming practicing clinicians! From those who are enrolled in medical school, dental school, and other professional health programs, to those who are already practicing clinicians (MD, DO, DMD/DDS, PA, CAA, etc.), our program has a strong track record of preparing our alumni for academic and professional success!

Join us as we wrap up our virtual Open House on April 14 at 5pm EDT to hear from some of our recent graduates about how the Medical Physiology program helped them, what they're doing today, and why this special master's program might be the right fit for you!

    Featured Alumni:

    Cody McIntire, MS 2020
Hailing from Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Cody attended Eastern Michigan University to complete his undergraduate degree in biology. He enrolled in the MSMP program in 2018 with the goal of improving his MCAT score, growing academically and professionally, and preparing for the medical school application process. Currently, Cody is a first-year medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

    Ikenna Nwosu, MS 2021
Ikenna is originally from Champlin, Minnesota. After high school, he enrolled at Brigham Young University to major in chemical engineering. After graduating, he wanted to strengthen his academic record and demonstrate his prowess in the medical sciences by excelling academically in a rigorous curriculum at a prestigious university. He chose the MSMP program as his stepping stone to medical school. Currently, Ikenna is working as a clinical research assistant in the Endocrine and Metabolism Institute at the Cleveland Clinic and also as the assistant to the MSMP Admissions Office. He has been accepted to a number of medical schools and will be starting this upcoming fall!

    Crystal Pascual, MS 2021
Long Island, NY, is home for Crystal who graduated from Cornell University in May 2019 with a biological sciences major and inequality studies minor. She is currently working as a clinical research coordinator at the Cleveland Clinic in the Vascular Medicine department. Crystal started the MSMP program in 2019 because she felt her undergraduate GPA was not competitive enough for medical school and she wanted a smaller class environment where she could refine her study skills and achieve the academic success of which she knew she was capable. She is looking forward to starting medical school in the fall!

    Payal Patel, MS 2021
Payal grew up in Elyria, a west side suburb about 20 miles from Cleveland. She attended The Ohio State University where she majored in biology before starting the MSMP program in 2019 to strengthen her science background and prove that she could handle graduate-level science coursework. She is currently working at the Cleveland Clinic as a research coordinator in the Cancer Department (melanoma group) and is looking forward to starting dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in Mesa, AZ this upcoming fall!
