MA in Bioethics and Medical Humanities presents: Combined Bachelors/Masters Degree (formerly IGS) Information Session

    Highly successful current undergraduate students at Case Western Reserve University are invited to join Dr. Eileen Anderson and  Leah Jeunnette to learn more about the MA in Bioethics and Medical Humanities program as part of the Combined Bachelors/Masters Degree program (formerly known as IGS).

    The Combined Bachelors/Masters Degree program:
    • Allows up to 9 credits to count for both bachelors and masters program*
    • Graduates students with both a bachelors and a masters degree during your time at CWRU
    • Enhances resumes as students consider their goals and career path.
    *CWRU Undergrad who enrolled prior to Summer 2022 are grandfathered into the previous Integrated Graduate Studies rules (up to 30 credits may count for both BA and MA).

    The MA in Bioethics and Medical Humanities program is open to students from all majors and plans of study:
    • Pre-health students who wish to strengthen their professional program applications while also enriching their health care training with a grounding in critical ethical issues and perspectives;
    • Pre-law students who hope to better understand the connection between bioethics, humanities and law as a way to enhance their law school applications; 
    • Nursing or Engineering students who are looking to enhance their knowledge with greater bioethics and humanities context;
    • Humanities students who are looking to prepare for a doctoral program or explore career path options;
    • Undecided students who are exploring for the next steps in their career paths.
