Bioethics and Medical Humanities: Clinical Ethics Webinar

Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

Are you interested in ethical issues in the clinical world? Our Master's in Bioethics and Medical Humanities at Case Western Reserve University allows our students to spend 160 hours rotating in teaching hospitals. During this one-year program, students experience clinical ethics through interactive observations at Cleveland Clinic, Louis B. Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, MetroHealth System, or University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Department Chair and Professor of Bioethics, Mark P. Aulisio, PhD, will share insights into the world of clinical ethics, our program and outcomes, opportunities for research, and the application process.

Other topics we will cover include:
    • Concentrations in Medicine, Society, and Culture or Research Ethics
    • Collaborate with nationally and internationally-known faculty on research grants, practicum projects, and capstone papers
    • Competitive research, teaching, and program assistantships that offset a portion of tuition
